Decision-making is regarded as the cognitive process resulting in the selection of a belief or a course of action among several alternative possibilities.Some people want to be a quick decision maker.For them,it is the decisive ones that can act quickly and often succeed.From my perspective,however,it is necessary to spend a lot of time on decision making,especially on those crucial things for the following reasons.

First,we are supposed to have a thoughtful consideration and objective reasoning regarding important issues,which helps us avoid making serious mistakes.To be specific, what can be regarded as an important decision?It may not be as common as choosing a preferred shirt between two when we are shopping,but more like a turning point in our life journey,such as choosing a major or refusing a job offer.According to the Butterfly Effect,all the things are interrelated as well as interdependent and therefore affect our future life,but certainly some of them account more.Thus,it is worthwhile to spend a lot of time in pondering potential advantages and disadvantages as possible as we can,with the aim of getting the best results.For instance,in terms of choosing a major,all the factors involved should be carefully considered,such as one's real interest,talent, background and job prospects and such deliberate considerations are timing-consuming.。。。。。余下范文省略！
