Students Need Campus Snack Shop

I think the university should open a snack shop on campus-a snack shop that would be operated entirely by our students. A student-run snack shop would benefit students in two ways. First, it would create a number of job opportunities for students Second, the store would be a convenient place on campus to buy food, providing students with a fast; easy place to get snacks at any time of the day

Female Student: Did you see Julia’s letter?

Male Student: Yeah, I did!

Female Student: And?

Male Student: I’m all for it.

Female Student: Yeah?

Male Student: Yeah! Jobs like that provide students with great work experience, experience they can learn how to do it all, make up staff schedules, keep track of inventory, order supplies, make sure the building is maintained…

Female Student: Yeah, I guess you could learn a lot.

Male Student: Yeah, stuff you can really use when you graduate, especially if you’re thinking of starting your own business.

Female Student: Okay, yeah, I can see that. But her second point doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. I mean, we have a nice cafeteria. What’s wrong with eating there?
