P:So John, what's on your mind?

S:Oh，well,It's nothing specific. U yeah I guess you see the thing is I'm graduating this semester and ....

P:Right, congratulations. What then?

S:Well,That's just it. So I was wondering if you, I don't know, maybe had some ideas.

P:Oh,I don't know. Maybe if you told me more about,....

S:Actually, if I may, I mean you must be, you're an English major to write.

So,well,You were once in my position. So how did you deal with it ?

P:Right,well after college? I really wasn't sure what I wanted to do. So I took a year off and that was the first thing I did. And then I started a masters in English literature. And eventually I realized I wanted to be a professor. So in other words, I kind of continued what I had been studying in college and ultimately decided I wanted to stay with it. But that was me. So I don't know. Why don't you tell me more about what's going through your head these days?
