Actually I do agree with this idea.

First of all, learning such life skills could build the young’s responsibility and cultivate their kindness. Take cooking as an example, in my home, when I was a young girl, I and my sisters always took turns helping my mother cook dinner. Sometimes my mother assigned some tasks to us such as defrosting an item or collecting the ingredients from the pantry, and we learned personal responsibility by doing so.
