I do believe that all university students should take math and other science related courses no matter what they major in, because knowledge of such subjects is essential not only at work but also in life.

Math makes people think logically and calculate carefully, and science teaches them how everything works and thus they know how to make good use of technology and avoid possible risks in life.

I don’t think all students should be required to study math or science, because some of them major in fields that have nothing to do with them.Taking courses that are unnecessary could be a waste of time and money, and once their time gets occupied, then they will have much less time to spend on activities that they find interesting.
