Frankly, I disagree with the statement. This is because it will impose too much burden on students and it is not very efficient for students to acquire new knowledge. To be more specific. It's the epitome of cram education which means forcing students to practice redundant and repetitive tasks. Consequently, students are gonna suffer from studying-weariness. I think it is better for students to learn something according to their own plan or at least teachers should give students some opportunities to discover something or learn something in the way that they are interested in. For example, teachers can organize a field trip or establish Task-based learning group to motivate students instead.
