2020年11月29日托福独立写作范文：

The fast advance of technology has created great convenience to people’s life and is also requiring more and more land to put technological theory into practice. More and more roads are built, spreading across the whole country; dams also appear on every river. However, the process is never smooth and some people argue against it.But from my perspective, it is actually right for government to construct big structures and ask people to move their businesses and houses away for space.

To begin with, these structures could benefit the whole country. Take building dam as an example. Before the construction of the dam, most electricity is converted from the energy of burning coal, which has already caused all sorts of problems. Burning coal will produce coal ash which will be spread into the air. Whenever it is in winter, the particles of the coal ash will gather in the air and create smog. Consequently, people will see grey sky year after year and the heavy smog would send many people into hospital to treat respiration system problems. If this trend continues, the whole country cannot stay healthy. However, the dam could change this situation by providing electricity through water power, which is clean. The more electricity comes from water power, the better the air condition of the country will be. As a result, building dam could bring benefits to the whole country.
