Children live at home, but at some point of their life, they are supposed to leave home and find their own places to live. Thus choosing a place to live happens in almost everybody’s life and it is natural for people to pay great attention to this topic. Among many factors for choosing houses, some people may attach great importance to the price of living or the shops near their houses or apartments. However, from my perspective, whether the living place is close to our relatives is the most important factor.

To begin with, living close to our relatives could ensure that we could receive proper help when we need it. When we live by ourselves, many difficulties may occur. For example, we may need somebody to help us to carry something heavy from the first floor to the floor which we live on; when we are sick, we may hope that somebody else could take care of us, like cooking food, cleaning the room, etc.; when we meet obstacles in our study or work, we may want somebody experienced to give us some useful advice. All of those situations may require that we live near our relatives, since other people, like friends, may not be able to fully carry out these responsibilities, especially when they may be busy with their own life. As a result, the most important factor to consider is whether we live close to our relatives.
