a.个人生活： 错误的信息会使人们使用错误的方式生活，饮食、睡眠等信息影响身体健康

b.工作生活：工作中需要收集资料，错误的信息使得工作出错，效率低，受到领导批评

It was recorded that the amount of information in recent two decades took up 70% of that in human history, but simultaneously, the number of people who claim that the news are far from truth also tops 70%. Contrary to their statement, my opinion lies in the fact that today’s information from new media are quite reliable and the contemporary are not as blind as they are regarded.

Large ranges of medium do not provide so much fake information as the accuracy one due to the inter-contradiction. The distorted details from certain journalist about the battles in Libya may be soon clarified by the news agency in another part of the earth. The amount of incorrect coverage and even the fabricated affairs may easily be in the spotlight but before long, repudiated by factual accounts. In this situation, something misleading and bogus cannot survive awhile.

Apart from the self-cleaning capacity of the press, those who want to break the code of conduct will also be stifled in the cradle by censors. The sound laws and stricter ethics limit the space for news outlets to blow things out of all proportions. According to the annunciation of SARFT (The State Administration of Radio Film and Television), 15 well-known newspaper offices and more than 17 copywriters were charged for they fabricated some gossip that sway negatively among the public in first half of 2017. That is, whether medium or individuals need to restrain themselves and have no possibility to achieve attention by virtue of media hype.

According most people, media outlets are less concerned aboutaccuracy. The same people tend to fret and worry about how incorrect information may cause more problems to the public, but those critics fail to recognize what is actually happening: media is evolving, and the old forms of media are dying. I disagree that the media is less concerned about the accuracy of news than in the past, and I am not worried about faulty information harming the public.

The first thing to realize is that there has never been a golden age of news media: every age in the past has been filled with propaganda and bias, just like today’s media. As long as societies have circulated information, much of the information has been created by those in power to convince or persuade the populace of their agenda. American World War II media is a great example. Most of the advertising was geared toward families so they would stay productive and fuel the war efforts. The iconic image of a strong woman with a bandana did propel women’s efforts for legal equality, but much of it was engineered to persuade women to work harder while their men were at war. Additionally, much of the media geared toward men was created to persuade them of the urgency of joining the war effort. The media of any place, in any time, is concerned about their bottom line and providing an acceptable narrative.

Recently, a controversial proposal was put forward, suggesting that the abuse of incorrect information reported by the media will make a negative influence on the public. From my perspective, for the point that various problems are brought by false media news, I can’t agree more with it.

To begin with, the main reason for my propensity is that the media information lacking in accuracy will probably misguide the audience about the truth of what has happened. As we all know, with the rapid development of science and technology, there is too much information flooding into our daily life, including the false inevitably, which will cause the panic and confusion among the society. We can imagine that if we live in a world without enough social stability, it would be a complete mess. What’s more, the leak of personal information can lead into some financial damages, thus people’s career and personal life may be destroyed tragically.
