范文1:
In college, choosing courses can be a major factor in what kind of experience a student has. A student must choose courses to fulfill credit requirements, but they often have considerable choice in which specific classes to take and when. In addition to credit concerns and the titles or focuses of the classes, the professors teaching them might influence students’ decisions. Personally, if it were my last semester in school, I would try to choose classes taught by professors whose classes I’d taken before.
First of all, one more semester is a limited number of classes. Depending on the school’s schedule, that might only be four or five classes. This means it would be my last chance to squeeze what I could out of my college experience—and my tuition. Some might say I should try classes taught by professors I have not learned from in order to diversify my experience. I disagree: this is a huge risk. What if you simply do not like your professors in your last semester and you do not learn as much as you hoped? Now you have missed your last chance to take another course from that amazing professor you loved earlier in your college career. One last semester is just too big a chance to waste on what is uncertain.

范文2:
The moment of graduation and awarding diploma is precious for every student as it is exactly what they are fighting for and looking forward to. Imagine if you are at the last semester on campus, whether to take courses taught by professors that you have taken their courses in the past or by professors that are unfamiliar to you? Personally, I would rather study with the professors that I am quite familiar with on account of better communication and shorter adapting time.
To begin with, a familiar professor more likely provides more assistance in or out of class. Having taken the professor’s courses, the mutual understanding between the teacher and student has been established and thus, the communication is apt to be much easier. What is more, in addition to academic studies, consulting a professor you are acquainted with about the issues of graduation is much more accessible. Professor Yang, an expert in business administration of my college, acts like both an intimate friend and a mentor in my life. After my 4 years’ of work period, he still assists me at no time whenever I turn to him for help. If there was another chance to study back to university, I would choose his course without any hesitation.
Aside from more assistance from an acquainted professor, less time saved from adapting could be taken good advantage of for graduation preparation. It is not difficult to understand that each professor demonstrates unique teaching style together with various requirements or criteria for their specific courses and assignments. Thus, one can soon get accustomed to the course arrangement, including the professor’s teaching pattern, how to preview or review as well as when to ask for help from the professor. The less time spent on adjusting oneself to a totally new course and a professor, the more time left to prepare for graduation.
