托福独立写作范文点拨:

b.激发学习的兴趣:去博物馆参观看到的会和学校学习的有information gap,会激发学生去探索。

2.写论文好

It has been a hot topic on high school graduates’ spending their summer vacation before entering college. From my point of view, participating in field trips in museums or historical sites and then writing papers, rather than attending classes to preview university-level courses in their major fields, should be preferred and considered first. My reasons are as follows.

First and foremost, considering that the high school graduates have been already under great pressure in the procedure of college entrance examination preparation, and will continue facing the fierce academic competition in the coming college phase, they should consciously take on a interesting way to temporarily relax themselves. As the proverb goes, ‘all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy’. Through the dynamic and colourful field trips, students can get isolated from the boring academic environment in class, step out to observe and absorb what they’re truly interested in. By taking visits in museums or places of interest, students could appreciate videos, sounds and documents of various historical affairs and even interesting anecdotes of heroes or celebrities, therefore setting themselves in an enchanting atmosphere and throwing away the heavy burdens. On the contrary, if students get overwhelmed in excessive pressure, not only would they perform worse, but chances are that they face emotional-health problems.

In addition, participating in such field trips will help students enhance many other capabilities essential for future development, like social practice, interpersonal communication and paper writing. It’s undeniable that in efforts to beat their competitors and pass their college entrance examination, high school students should fully focus on academic study and not waste time in unrelated affairs. College, however, is a place aiming to cultivate talents not only in academic performance but also in some professional skills, which couldn’t get well established by merely attending theoretical courses. Only by experiencing on-site documents and videos can students get better understandings, and only by gathering details to be incorporated in papers on their own will youngsters enhance oral and written delivering skills. Considering the time occupied in academic study in college, it’s great choice to get somewhat rudimentary experience in advance.

Based on the the two merits mentioned above, I firmly believe that it’s more beneficial for high school graduates in the summer before college to take trips in museums or historical sites instead of previewing university courses.
