1. A major that is short for students to complete their study and students can get their jobs (working full-time) sooner 

2. A major that requires much more time but students can be given better opportunities and job offers after they graduate.

a.获得的知识多：学习时间长毫无疑问会学到更多的知识，这对学生的将来发展都会有帮助。

b.培养的技能多：学习久也会培养很多有用的技能，比如时间管理技能，自主学习的能力，而学习时间短的学生有些技能并不能培养好。

2.工作好

a.赚的钱多：工作好了赚的钱也会多，钱也是个很关键的因素去达到quality life 。

b.更有成就感：有个好的工作会比工作早但工作并没有那么好的人更有成就感。

Longer, more job-oriented graduate programs or shorter, more condensed ones have always been a tough question for juniors and seniors in college. Personally speaking, as an incoming senior student, I prefer a condensed program in that it could help save time for my future job.

For the majority of TOEFL exam takers who plan to further their studies abroad, tuition is always a big concern. it’s known to all that graduate studies are very expensive, therefore, a shorter program could save us a ton of money while at the same time offering us valuable knowledge and skills that could better prepare us for the job market. To be more specific, just browse a few school websites. Most programs are designed within one and a half years in hope that students could enter the society earlier and gain more experience outside school.
