托福独立写作范文:
The media has long become a natural background of everyday life. Different forms of media, verbal or written, visual or aural, deliver information through time or space, linking the sender to the receiver. In fact, the mass media can affect the way we, as receivers, behave and act in our daily lives. We often expect accurate online information, yet more often than not, news stories and other information are inaccurate. As far as I am concerned, today's media are less concerned about the accuracy of news than their counterparts were in the past.
In 21st century, newspapers, TV news, radio and magazines have seen their audiences decline, while digital news channels are growing (vs. traditional media). It seems that social networking sites, such as Face book or Twitter, serve as our personalized newspaper. As the new kids on the block, these sites and relevant applications not only continuously create individual news producers, but also consistently accelerate the spread of news. Moreover, due to the growing number of Internet users, everyone tends to make him or herself online 24/7 and various news creators, with an acute sense of smell, do their utmost to catch their audience's attention as soon as possible. Thus, clickbait headlines and altered images become commonplace, resulting in an inexplicably high amount of misinformed news, seemingly more than normal.
