a.时间久：离得近就无需耗费大量时间在路途上，可以和朋友交流得更久

b.话题多：离得近，生活的环境差不多，共同的话题会比较多

2.互相帮助

a.工作：和朋友在一起可以获得资源，有人脉，有知道的工作典例，所以可以帮助彼此找工作;和朋友在一起可以交流工作技能，如怎样提高效率，怎样和同事上司相处，可以帮助彼此晋升

b.生活：离得近，在发生危险或困难时可以互相帮忙

Currently, with the social network expanding, how to maintain a relationship has been brought under the spotlight of the mass media. Therefore, when talking about whether we should intentionally stay away from the guys we care about or spend as much time as possible with them, the answer to the question may vary from one to another. In my eyes, spending longer together is much wiser, especially in developing the family relationship and friendship.

Firstly, consider the relationship between family members. As we all know, the healthy family relation requires time commitment from both kids and parents. In other words, the longer kids and parents stay together, the better they will understand each other, with the result of eliminating the misunderstanding caused by generation gap, the common barrier, between them. By contrast, staying far away from parents will definitely make children feel strange and alienated. Take the experience of my uncle as an example. My uncle works as a manager in a transnational company, which means that he has to spend almost ten months per year in a foreign country because of business travel. In this way, the time he can spend with his wife and son, Tom, is so limited that he is even not sure what grade Tom is in or what hobby Tom has. During the family reunion, Tom does not want to sit together with my uncle, because he feels that his father is just like a stranger.
