2019年12月14日托福独立写作范文:all university students Should be required to take at least one course that teaches them the culture of other countries?
2 在课堂上,教授可以很系统,很专业的帮助学生了解外国文化,学习效率高;
不需要上外国文化课:
1对于现在的大学生来说,上课不是唯一有效的学习外国文化的方式,他们可以通过看外国电影,在社交网络结交外国朋友,旅行等方式,亲身体验外国文化,这样的学习更有效;
2 虽然外国文化很重要,但是不是所有学生都感兴趣,不是所有职业都要求人们掌握外国文化,所以,没有必要要求所有学生都上课学习外国文化。
To improve overall education quality, universities are usually very careful in offering courses to students. Given the unprecedented pace of globalization, educators believe it is beneficial for students to take courses of foreign cultures. In my opinion, to force all college students to learn exotic cultures does more harm than good.
Admittedly, students today surely need knowledge of foreign cultures that enables them to get along well with foreign people and adapt to the environment boasting culture diversity. In metropolitan cities, people often encounter foreigners either in life or work. Without certain knowledge of foreign cultures, it is unavoidable that people may piss off or even annoy their foreign neighbors or foreign workmates, like asking an Arabian woman to take off her scarf in office. Therefore, university students definitely ought to equip themselves with some basic knowledge of exotic cultures.

2019年12月14日托福独立写作范文二:
Should all university curriculum include compulsive courses about other countries? This question matters because it has to do with what students will be. In my opinion, all college students should learn at least one foreign culture.
Following a course about other culture helps students to objectively look at it. Currently, we are exposed to other cultures every day in the form of international brands and popular films and music. These tangible and intangible products of a foreign country together gradually lead us to build up an impression of that world. The problem of such idea is that it is patchwork at best, which thus makes us have a bias against or towards other cultures. For example, because of bullfights in movies one may wrongly think that the Spanish are addicted to blood. Parties or affairs in countless Hollywood products would form a fake picture of Americans who do not care aboutfamilies. It would be unfair to blame people for the stereotype of Japanese as humorless when technical products, restaurants spare no efforts to convey the message of meticulous care about details. Therefore, should students take a well-designed course that show various aspects of certain culture, they would have a complete view of it and thus avoid making criticism or compliment blindly.
