托福独立写作范文一:
The time when children start to attend school is a change in their life and the change could be so huge that they may be overwhelmed. Therefore, parents would want to prepare them for their first big change in their life before hand, but they may not agree on how to make preparations. Some may want to speak aloud before children so that children could be more ready for listening to the classes in school; others may argue that talking with children will be better, since this approach could really attract kids’ attention to the things that are important. However, from my perspective, giving children more books to read is the best way to prepare them for their schools.
To begin with, speaking aloud before children may fail to attract their attention.Parents who want to speak aloud in front of their kids would love to practice children’s listening skills so that they could learn to pay attention and understand what the teacher is teaching in class. However, things may not be as ideal as what parents would think. For one thing, even though parents speak aloud, children may not pay attention. It is because children are used to parents’ voice and may only choose to listen when they want to, even though their parents raise their voice, which means parents cannot achieve their intended result. For another, parents are not expert in talking with children, which means they may not have selected the most proper words to speak in front of children. Thus, children may find it so hard to understand that they tend to ignore their parents’ words.

托福独立写作范文二:
How to offer children better education never fails to draw the attention from the public. There are three interesting approaches provided, including, offering more books for children to read, speaking aloud before children and talking with children. From my perspective, spending more time talking with children is superior to the two others.
On one hand, talking with children represents frequent communication. To be detailed, not only will it be an immediate and effective way of teaching children some important life lessons but also enhance the relationship between them. The closer the relationship is, the larger chance their children would be willing to share their problems happening at school with their parents. For instance, by talking with children, they can develop a series of required and essential characteristics, such as being patient, perseverant and curious as well as courageous because of parents' guidance and enlightenment, which would aid children to live a better academic life. In addition, parents can share some of their similar life experience to prevent children from some setbacks they used to be trapped in, such as being generous to share their little toys or snacks with classmates to maintain favorable relationship with their surrounding peers, and trying to be as quiet as possible to exhibit their respect to teachers who are delivering a speech. Also, as is just mentioned above, the frequent conversation with children would build up a stronger relationship with children who would lay their trust and credence on parents. Whenever they come across some challenges at school, they would like to converse with their parents instead of feeling isolated and helpless. Thus, talking with children, in my eye, would be the most effective and needed way to prepare children for their campus life.
On the other hand, providing more books for children to read is just like double-edge sword. Certainly, never should we deny the benefits of reading books and encouraging children to read books of different genres could serve as an efficient way to stimulate children’s intellectual stimulation and develop their interests. However, requiring children to read more books would be nonsensical. A story happening in my childhood could indicate the negativity of being forced to read too many books, As a child, my parents would always bring me to the library to read various interesting fairytales, like
