a.减少时间：快速决策，能够把时间省下来，用在执行计划、开展工作项目上，减少项目完成的时间，提高了工作效率

b.减少错误：要能够在短时间内做出决策，则需要领导注意力高度集中，排除其他干扰，专注在需要作出决定的问题上，减少了错误的可能

2.人际关系好

a.下属喜欢：做事果断、有效率的领导常常被认为是能力比较强的，因而下属比较喜欢

b.客户喜欢：领导快速决策，能够更及时、不拖延地解决客户遇到的问题，客户会感觉自己受到尊重，就会喜欢这样的领导

One of the criteria to measure the level of leadership is to see the time a leader takes to determine what to do next. While some argue that efficient decision-making implicates outstanding nature of a leader, others might want to stay away from this kind of leaders. Considering various missions faced by diverse leaders, there are no sufficient reasons for all leaders to be decisive.

Before disproving the necessity, we must admit the significance for leaders to make decisions in limited time. A leader often serves as the main commander and guidance of a team, just like the function of our brains to our bodies; that means, leaders guide what inferior employees should do and thus determine the direction the team heads towards, if the team is coherent enough. Unless in very special situations, inferior workers do not have the power to make decisions, nor are they perceptive enough to make constructive decisions. Therefore, in the case where the leader does not make decisions in time, the whole team could hardly run, causing the time to achieve the goal to delay, and bringing potential reduction in profit. Furthermore, in some special cases, delay in decisions might result from the leader’s inertia, which would bring profound loss to the whole team. In conclusion, keeping timely decision-making is a valuable nature of leaders.
