As more and more immigrants flowing into big cities, the competition in finding jobs intensifies. How to successfully find a satisfying job becomes one of the biggest concerns for undergraduates. For me, I believe the best way is always to ask some friends who are experienced in seeking jobs.

Firstly, experienced friends can offer great advice on job finding that is hard to find elsewhere. They can tell you the best and clearest format for a resume and help you with the interview process. For example, while I was applying for a part-time job in an educational institution, I was invited for an interview. Beforehand, I had no experience in job interviews at all, so I just asked a friend of mine, who was two years older than me, for interview tips. Friends are always willing to help. He eventually not only gave me pages of tips and mock interview questions but also helped me to practice mock interviews for several times, making me well-prepared and less anxious. In addition, experienced friends might even know which kinds of companies offer highest pay, which establishes strict rules and which allow the greatest individual freedom. This information that not everyone will know is important in helping us to choose a suitable job position.
