范文一:
Teamwork is a valuable skill that many parents, schools, and employers value. Learning to function and cooperate within a team is a fundamental step in becoming successful. A critical component of good teamwork and personal success is being able to accept others’ criticism.
Group work and teamwork is a skill that educators try to instill in students from a very young age. Take me for example. When I was in high school homework and class work often included exercises meant to combine different types of people to work towards a common goal. Mixing different personality types into small groups is a great way to facilitate the exchange of ideas and helps everybody gain a different perspective on a problem. One side effect of placing so many different types of people together is that they are bound to disagree eventually. In our small team, Amy, did not take well to criticism and others rejecting her ideas. Amy decided to withdraw from the assignment and refused to cooperate. The teacher was not pleased with this action and failed Amy for not cooperating on the assignment.

范文二:
It’s normal that opinions coming from a group of staff often conflict with each other, for people have different thoughts due to their diverse acknowledgement and characters. Facing disputes, some people are happy to accept other’s criticism with an open attitude, while others are not. If one doesn’t want to improve a lot or be successful, it’s acceptable to stick to his personality; it looks so cool in some way. But mentioning success, people who are not open to others’ criticism have fewer opportunities to win accomplishment.
One vital factor for success is the ability to correct and adjust promptly. It takes anyone time to realize mistakes with his own ability. Just like what we mentioned, competence from one person is limited, it’s unavoidable that his vision is not quite far-sighted or his angle is not comprehensive. While in teamwork, members can help each other realize what he can’t see. So, for a person who can’t listen to diverse opinions or negative comments, he will lose chances to adjust flaws. In a long term, his acknowledgement and horizon will be obstructed, and he is unlikely to make any improvement. Therefore, a person with open attitude to criticism can reorient direction in time and avoid losses; he will be successful more often.

托福独立写作范文三:
People who are successful at working in groups are hardworking, good at communicating, and good at sharing and accepting ideas. Listening to what others have to say, including their criticisms of your work, is an important part of being a successful team member.
Group work is an important part of studying and working. By working in teams, more ideas can be shared and combined to enable more creative and successful outcomes. In my business class for example, my teacher often puts us into groups. As a group we have to create business models and advertising plans. Exchanging ideas is an important part of this assignment. Everybody contributes an idea, and we decide on the best idea for each project. If there is a team member that does not take criticism well, then it makes it harder for my group to finish its project. One time a team member, Joe, was so offended we did not take his idea that he refused to help us finish the assignment. The teacher then failed Joe for not participating.
What is even worse, if you cannot take criticism well, then nobody will want to work with you. For one project, our teacher let us pick our own teams. Nobody wanted to work with Joe. Imagine if that was the real world? Many jobs require that you work and collaborate with other people. If nobody in your office wants to work with you, you are not likely to get assigned the most important projects by your boss.
