Nowadays, a number of famous parenting books constantly point out that parents should learn from their own children in various occasions. The conversation ofwhether parents are learning more from their children than children leaning from parents is more than often heated.Personally speaking, I disagree with the statement that parents learn more from children than children learn from parents.

Most importantly, parents typically have much more life experience than their kids, thus fully able to teach their children everything they possibly could. There's a saying that parents are children's best teachers in life. It is true from the day we are born, we are constantly learning from our parents, especially in our childhood. Our parents are those who live and communicate with us on a daily basis,those who we could count on, and those who are always there to help us with complicated choices and point out the more flexible solution. They give us their life-long advices and educate us with their rich experience. From tasks as insignificant as how to walk to those as significant as how to be a respected human being, we seek help and advice-both indirect and direct-from our parents. In this life-long relationship, children tend to listen to their parents' stories and summed up lessons that prepare the children with a smoother and safer life path ahead.
