2020年12月2日托福独立口语范文：Some people think that those children who do not want to keep learning a musical instrument course should be required to keep learning the course; while others think that those children should be allowed to make decisions by themselves。有人认为那些不想学乐器的小孩应该被要求继续学习，有人认为小孩应该被允许自己做决定。

If I had a boy who has been taking violin lessons for two years and then suddenly wants to quit, I would not force him to continue or simply say “ OK” to that either. I need to find out why first, maybe he is just a little bit frustrated with difficult techniques like vibrato, in this case, I would probably let him take a break for a month to cool off while looking for another teacher who can make it fun and easy for him. This is not only because it ’ s a shame to just throw away all the time and money that we have dedicated to this whole thing but also because If I just allow him to quit at this point of frustration, he may expect the same solution in other difficult situations later in life and grow up a  quitter without any skills.
